• Footage was shown of want went down after Nitro went off the air the previous Monday. Goldberg challenged Kevin Nash to come back to the ring, standing along with The Atlanta Falcons.
• Ric Flair Interview - (Conducted by Gene
Okerlund)
- Ric Flair first said the crowd was at the arena because of
tradition, and mentioned his match with Harley Race that took place in 1981 in
the same arena in Richmond. Flair then discussed matters on Hollywood Hogan and
Kevin Nash. Flair said that in 10 years, Nash would have to explain the scam to
his kids where he layed down to Hogan the previous Monday on Nitro. He was also
upset at the rest of the new NWO members. Flair said Eric Bischoff would have to
be at his office at 8:00am for the sorry work he put into the commentating on
Nitro. Flair announced Nash and Hogan would pay the price the next Monday on
Nitro.
• Pre-recorded footage was shown of Chris Jericho talking to referee Scott Dickinson. Jeircho was basically trying to convince Dickinson that he supposedly shouldn't take anything from Saturn. The commentators wondered if there was a rather close relationship between Jericho and Dickinson.
• Ernest Miller (w/Sonny Onoo) defeated Saturn via
Pinfall.
- As Saturn was ready to make the pin, Chris Jerihco made his way
down and pulled out referee, Mickey Jay. As the referee argued with Jericho,
referee Scott Dickinson made his way down, and let Miller pin Saturn. Dickinson
didn't even make a three count, but just called for the bell. Saturn started
throwing a chair around afterward.
• Backstage, The Giant, Curt Hennig, Scott Norton, Vincent, Brian Adams, and Horace were waiting for the new NWO. Hollywood Hogan, Lex Luger, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Scott Steiner, and Buff Bagwell all arrived in their limousine, and were wearing black and red NWO T-Shirts. The Giant asked Hogan, "What's the deal?" Hogan asked the original NWO members to take care of some buisness, while they regroup. As they were walking through the arena, Nash said, "Wolfpac in the house." Hall had a stungun.
• Kidman defeated Psychosis by Disqualification, to
retain the Cruiserweight Title.
- As Kidman went for the Shooting Star Press,
Juventud Guerrera interfered. The referee called the bell, as Kidman was
attacked by two LWO members. Rey Mysterio, Jr. ran down to make the save. As a
battle was going on in the ring, new Wolfpac (newest NWO) members made their
ways down to the ring and took out all wrestlers.
• Wolfpac Interview.
- The new NWO's name was The
Wolfpac. Both Kevin Nash and Hollywood Hogan were happy with what they did the
previous Monday on Nitro. Hogan said The Wolfpac would take everything back in
the wrestling business that was theirs. Hogan called Goldberg a coward. Original
NWO members made their ways down to the ring. The Giant asked again,
"What's the deal?" Hogan said it was just a timing thing, but The
Giant said they were just leaving the original NWO hanging. Hogan said The Giant
dropped the ball when Randy Savage took him out, in a match of Ric Flair vs.
Eric Bischoff, where Flair won to take over WCW for 90 days. Hogan said Nash was
the true giant in the NWO and he never dropped the ball. The Giant said he was
the only giant in wrestling. Hogan said if The Giant could beat Nash on Nitro,
he could take the giant spot in The Wolfpac. The Giant gladly accepted. There
was red, black, and white all in the ring.
• Pre-recorded footage was shown of Raven talking to his mother, his grandma, and his sister, Chastity, along with Kanyon. They all wanted Raven to get treatment. Raven disagreed. The mother, grandma, and the sister were all arguing with each other. Raven just left, and Kanyon went to go talk to him.
• Bam Bam Bigelow defeated Jerry Flynn with Greetings from Asbury Park.
• Barry Windham and Curt Hennig Interview -
(Conducted by Gene Okerlund)
- Barry Windham and Curt Hennig came out to no
music. They talked about their upcoming Souled Out match with Ric and David
Flair. Windham said Ric Flair made the mistake of his life, because it would be
the end of his son, David. Hennig said the match would be really
silly.
• Backstage, Gene Okerlund interviewed a terrified LWO member, Juventud Guerrera. Guerrera said The Wolfpac was after him, and that they got after Eddie Guerrero (actually a car wreck).
• Disco Inferno defeated Chavo Guerrero, Jr. with the
Chart Buster.
- Pepe had a neckbrace around its stick-neck. Chavo Guerrero,
Jr. was paying too much attention to his hobby horse, Pepe, which let Disco
Inferno finish off the match with the Chart Buster.
• Tag Team Title Tournament: Fit Finlay and David
Taylor defeated Lizmark, Jr. and Super Calo.
- Tony Schiavone noted before
the match that the Tag Team Titles weren't defended in 30 days, so they were
having a tournament. David Taylor and Fit Finaly dominated and easily took the
victory. Wolfpac and NWO members made their ways down to the ring, and attacked
both tag teams in the ring. Scott Hall stunned all four wrestlers with his
taser. Hall said, "Tradition bites." Hall said the tournament was
never going to happen, because The Outsiders rule.
• Booker T. defeated La Parka with the Harlem
Sidekick.
- La Parka grabbed his chair, and the chair was slammed right into
his face once Booker T. executed the Harlem Sidekick.
• More pre-recorded footage of Raven's family. They were all hanging out by the pool. Kanyon was cleaning the pool, until James (The Sandman), Raven's friend, arrived. James said hello to Kanyon. Kanyon wasn't happy to see James there. James pushed Kanyon in the pool. James went to go say hello to Chastity, Raven's mother and grandma. Raven complained that they were always occupying his friend. Raven walked inside, and James followed to go talk to his friend. The mother, grandma, and Chastity were all arguing.
• Konnan defeated Chris Jericho (w/Ralphus) with a
Face Buster.
- Before the match, backstage footage was shown of La Parka
laying flat on the floor. A line was drawn around him, and NWO was spelled out
in red on the floor. Scott Dickinson was refereeing the match. Jericho pushed
Konnan into the referee. Jericho then pulled out a foreign object and used it on
Konnan. As Jericho was in the process of making the pin, Saturn pulled the
referee from the ring. Konnan hit Jericho with the Face Buster, and Saturn made
the pin.
• Barry Windham defeated Chris Benoit via
Pinfall.
- Chris Benoit dominated Barry Widnham. Curt Hennig made his way
down, and was immediately put in the Crippler Corssface. Windham knocked out
Benoit, while Hennig left the ring. Windham then made the pin, to take the win.
Steve McMichael entered the ring and cleared house.
