• The announcers discussed Hollywood Hulk Hogan's retirement from professional wrestling and aired a special recap video of his WCW career.
• Scott Steiner Interview (w/NWO Referee)
- Scott
Steiner first bragged about how better he was than Elvis Presley. He said he
would always be friends with Hollywood Hogan. He mentioned Scott Hall, and said
Hall was out of order. He said he would finish the job with Hall later in the
show.
• Eddie Guerrero (w/Bodyguard) and Ciclope went to a
No-Contest.
- As the match went on, it went to a sudden stop, as the referee
called for the bell. Other LWO members made their ways in to officially recruit
Ciclope.
• The Giant defeated Renegade with a Chokeslam.
-
The Giant took the match in less than two minutes with a Chokeslam from the top
rope. Following the match, The Giant taunted Diamond Dallas Page. DDP made his
way in, and knocked out The Giant with a chair. DDP told The Giant if he wanted
some to come and get some.
• Chavo Guerrero, Jr. defeated Mike Enos via
Pinfall.
- The match became very close as it progressed. At one point, Mike
Enos had the win after all fall-a-way slam from the top rope, but he decided to
continue the match after picking up Chavo Guerrero, Jr. in a middle of a pin. As
Enos went for a powerbomb, Chavo jumped over and rolled up Enos for the pin.
Enos snapped after the match, and started to choke out Chavo. Security officials
made their ways in to put Enos to a stop.
• Rey Mysterio, Jr. defeated Villano V with a Flying
Head Scissors Takedown.
- Rey Mysterio, Jr. executed many excellent maneuvers
and finished off the match with a Head Scissors Takedown. As Mysterio made his
way back to the locker room, Tony Schiavone stopped him for an interview.
Schiavone discussed Mysterio's LWO involvement, as other LWO members made their
ways out. Eddie Guerrero said that the Cruiserweight Title was clouding
Mysterio's mind, and it was all about the LWO only, but yet, Guerrero said
Juventud Guerrera would get the Cruiserweight Title shot instead. Schiavone
announced that a Guerrera vs. Mysterio match was signed for next week's Thunder,
with the winner getting a Cruiserweight Title shot. Guerrero was
furious.
• Wrath defeated Chip Minton with the Meltdown.
• Chris Benoit and Steve McMichael (w/Arn Anderson)
defeated Kanyon and Raven via Countout.
- Raven was depressed once again.
This time, Kanyon tricked the crowd, and asked them, "Who is not better
than Kanyon?" The crowd responded, "Everybody." Raven stood in
the corner of the ring, with his head down. Kanyon wanted to tag Raven in, but
Raven did not pay any attention. When Raven's hand was touched, he walked away
from the ring, causing a Countout. Meanwhile, Chris Benoit had Kanyon the
Crippler Crossface. The Four Horsemen were not too pleased with the
decision.
• Konnan defeated Disco Inferno by making him submit
to the Tequilla Sunrise, to retain the Television Title.
- Before the match,
Disco Inferno said he would have a major announcement the following Monday on
Nitro. He also said he wanted his own video, like Konnan. Konnan hyped up the
crowd and insulted Disco. It was announced that Konnan will have another music
video in January. Disco worked very hard in the match, but after he was
face-bustered, and strapped in the Tequilla Sunrise, Konnan took the
win.
• Scott Hall and Scott Steiner went to a No-Contest,
with the NWO Referee officiating.
- Scott Steiner and Scott Hall wrestled a
lonngmatch. The NWO Referee was totally unfair, as he made fast pins for
Steiner, but slow pins for Hall. After the NWO Referee pulled Steiner down from
Hall's Outsider Edge, Hall had enough, and powerbombed the referee. Steiner then
caught Hall with the Steiner Recliner. No referee was there to make a decision
as the show went off the air.
