Live from Jacksonville, Florida
Highlights were shown throughout the program of the
Hollywood Hogan, Dennis Rodman, Diamond Dallas Page, and Karl
Malone press conference. WCW also highlighted their appearances
on Jay Leno's Tonight Show.
Diamond Dallas Page Interview - (With Gene Okerlund)
-Diamond Dallas Page discussed his and Karl Malone's upcoming
Bash at the Beach match with Hollywood Hogan and Dennis Rodman.
Basically, he stated that he and Malone would be victorious.
Disco Inferno defeated Lynn Denton with a Piledriver.
-Lynn Denton put up a tough fight for Disco Inferno, but Disco
managed to get the win with a Piledriver
Kevin Greene Interview.
-Kevin Greene first said Jacksonville's football team is very
competetive. He discussed his football career, saying this
season's would be his most successful. When he brought up some
history between he and Goldberg, Curt Hennig and Rick Rude made
their ways down to the ring. As both sides began to argue, The
Giant attacked Greene from behind. It was a 3-on-1 situation, and
Greene was left helpless. Afterwards, Greene went after the three
NWO-Hollywood members. Backstage, Arn Anderson, Steve McMichael,
and Benoit held back Greene from NWO-Hollywood. J.J. Dillion
announced to the two sides that Kevin Greene would take on The
Giant later in the show.
Yugi Nagata (w/Sonny Onoo) defeated Tokyo Magnum by making
him submit to the Nagata Lock.
-Yugi Nagata dominated Tokyo Magnum, and finished him off with
the Nagata Lock. Afterwards, backstage, Stevie Ray attacked Chris
Benoit. Security officials made their ways to the fight and held
back Ray.
Public Enemy defeated Sick Boy and Horace (w/Lodi) via
Pinfall.
-Both tag teams used great teamwork, leaving a physical fight for
their opponents. Rocco Rock executed a top-rope maneuever, and
caused a stop sign to ram into Horace. Rock then secured the pin
for Public Enemy to obtain the victory.
Bret Hart Interview - (With Gene Okerlund)
-Bret Hart discussed his upcoming match with Chris Benoit that
would take place later in the show. He brought up some history
between he and Benoit, and said Benoit's decision not to join
NWO-Hollywood was not a wise one.
Goldberg defeated Rick Fuller with the Jackhammer, to
retain the WCW United States Title.
Wolfpac Interview.
-Kevin Nash and Konnan first hyped up the crowd. Sting announced
that he and Kevin Nash would take on anyone, with the Tag Team
Titles on-the-line.
Alex Wright defeated Eddie Guerrero via Pinfall.
-As the physical match went on, Chavo Guerrero, Jr. appeared.
Chavo distracted Eddie, causing Alex Wright to catch Eddie from
behind, with a successful pin. Afterwards, Chavo bothered Eddie
as they both their ways to the locker room.
Konnan defeated Riggs (w/Lodi) by making him submit to the
Tequilla Sunrise.
-Riggs attempted to gain the advantage many times, but Konnan
remained on top. Konnan finished off Riggs with the Tequilla
Sunrise.
Stevie McMichael defeated Stevie Ray via Count Out.
-During the match, Chris Benoit made his way down to the ring
with a chair. Booker T. stopped Benoit from hitting Stevie Ray
with the chair. Ray and Booker T. then began to argue on the
outside of the ring, letting McMichael freely obtain the victory
by Count Out.
NWO-Hollywood Interview.
-Hollywood Hogan ripped Randy Savage and dicussed his and Dennis
Rodman's upcoming Bash at the Beach match with Diamond Dallas
Page and Karl Malone. He, Eric Bischoff, Elizabeth, and The
Disciple were very confident that NWO-Hollywood would be
victorious.
Bret Hart defeated Chris Benoit by making him submit to
the Sharpshooter.
-Both wrestlers put up a physical fight and did not give up to
any finishing maneuvers. Stevie Ray appeared and distracted Chris
Benoit. Bret Hart caught Benoit from behind and finished him off
with the Sharpshooter.
The Giant and Kevin Greene went to a No Contest.
-The Giant first dominated Kevin Greene. When Greene gained the
momentum, Curt Hennig and Rick Rude appeared. Greene took a
beating from the three NWO-Hollywood members. Other NWO-Hollywood
members made their down to the ring, followed by Goldberg.
Goldberg took out NWO-Hollywood. The show went off the air when
Kevin Greene and Goldberg challenged The Giant and Curt Hennig to
a tag team match for Bash at the Beach.
